Our Church name has been changed to Hasson Heights Community Church.
We have recently changed our worship style from Traditional to Contemporary.
Our service is now led musically by a praise band and a worship leader.

Events
Kick-off Sunday
Sunday Sept. 7 will be our fall kick-off Sunday. We will have a special
breakfast for fellowship and to introduce our Sunday School Teachers. Our Sunday
School class will begin again. We will be blessing backpacks for all of our children who are heading back to school.
Church Clean Up Day
We are planning a
church clean-up day to go through closets, attic, boxes, etc., and clean out unnecessary stuff. Please join us at 9 AM, Nov 1.

Announcements
E-groups
One of our new programs this fall is going to be the creation of evangelistic small groups (e-groups). These small groups will consist of 8-10 people, will meet on a regular basis, and will have evangelism
as their focus. Please contact Rev. Bower if interested.
Confirmation
Class
We are planning a confirmation class for the fall. The class is for
any of our young people who have completed 6th grade and who have been baptized but have not made a public confession
of their faith and joined the church as an adult. Classes will probably be held
on Sunday afternoon. If interested please contact Rev. Bower
Breakfast
We are making plans
for hosting our weekly breakfast again this fall. We are looking for feedback
on whether to do it and assistance in serving. Please talk to Deb Grove if you
can help on a rotating basis.
Back to School
We will be collecting
back to school supplies for an outreach at Hasson Heights Elementary. There will
be a collection box in the back of the sanctuary.
Teen Connection
Our Jr-Sr. Youth Group (grade 7-12) will begin meeting every other week this fall. We will meet on Sundays at 6:00 PM beginning Sept 7. We will
be involved in study, service and fun.
Sunday School Teacher
We are looking for a Sunday School Teacher for pre-K/Kindergarten or Jr./Sr. High. You can pick the age group. We have the curriculum and will
provide training on how to use it. If you feel God leading you to work with our
young people please call Barb Dudzic, 676-4516.
